Chrissie Kar Wah, a self-proclaimed daydreamer (as cited in her school reports), spent many hours in her childhood years gazing into her mum’s aquarium, studying the interactions between her pet fishes. Intrigued by the serenity of their movement as they swam by one another, she would often imagine them sending each other fishy felicitations. These moments in front of her fishy friends gave her an escape into another world, one that was soothing and peaceful.
